It was also analyzed the abuser and accuser relationship with the victim, the family structure and duration by the means of survival analyzes. The results lead to the conclusion that, along all the years of research, sexual abuse was a more common problem than all the other types of violence together, which justifies this paper. It is also important to emphasize that the number of sexual abuse cases against boys lead the statistics. Although sexual abuse occurs at all ages it can be inferred that this type of violence is more predominant among 10 to 14 year-old children.
